Gamla stan (old town) in Stockholm. If you're into traditional and handcrafted christmasy stuff and edibles, well it's full of that, and pretty much everyone speaks English fluently.
Not sure if it's just specific market days or if it's through all of december, you'll have to check
And so, I am ready for a eleven-day trip to Europe for a Christmas market. Any recommendations of a city which is safe for a Asian girl? This will be a solo trip, well it has always been, and I have heard enough praises of Germany about its Christmas markets. I totally understand that I should visit but if I had visited the best Christmas markets, I might just shrugged off other cities in future. Any ideas, people?
I don't understand what you are asking with the underlined part but if you want something outside of Germany, you can try Strasbourg, Alsace, France.
Has anyone been to the christmas market in Dresden? Just wonder if it takes more than two nights to visit all the stalls?
Mhm... Personally, I think that the junk they are selling at these markets is getting boring quite quickly. For me, those markets are more about the snacks, the booze and the atmosphere. Is it worth going to a Christmas market twice in a row? I guess. But I wouldn't go there just to see every single stall selling kitsch. If you have seen one, you have seen all.

I have never been to the Christmas Market in DD but if you are there you need at least a day to visit the Saxony Schweiz/Elbsandstein.
Strasbourg is close to me, I will go there for the Christmas Market with my daughter this year. We both are athiests but we like the christmas stuff, I just prefer to think of it as a solstice celebration.
The smaller Christmas markets which just about every town has can be nice too.
I liked Dresden christmas market very much, but 2 days/nights will be fine enough. You could even include some parts of the old city like Zwinger, Frauenkirche, Semperoper etc.
The surrounding of Dresden may also have some nice smaller markets, such as Bautzen or Meissen.
Germany has the most boring Christmas markets i have ever experienced. Barcelona was fabulous. I would love to try Seville during Christmas season. It is a lively, friendly place. I just haven't been there in the Christmas season.
In my personal opinion the one in Vienna is most fab
