seems a completely joke to me, no way in any dreams Norway, Finland, DK, Sweden or Netherlands have the same amount of redheads as France or Belgium.
oh really? I know lots of french people living in Altea and in the nearby, studied with many french kids when I was younger, not even a girl was redheaded, not even their parents, but one of the girls was very white blonde with blue eyes resembling nordic.
ayy lmao I've been in Lyon, Montpellier and Paris. As far as I know that is France. Not even a single redhead. On Paris I seen a very few but probably tourists as they were having backpacks. lol
Agreed, Germany has a lot of Redheads, ditto for The NEtherlands, Norway and Iceland. Belgium has less redheads and France way less. Not sure about Sweden , Denmark and Finland.
Netherlands has a lot of strawberry blondes, however germany has more proper redheads, just mere observation.
Germany has less red-headed people in percentage than Belgium or the Netherlands or any other country in North-West Europe. Germany and France (ethnic French of course) have about the same percentage for red-heads, but if we separated North France from France, then there would a higher percentage of red-heads in North France than Germany especially in the regions of Brittany ( Bretagne) and Normandy ( Normandie), due to higher percentage of the Y-Dna haplogroup R1b-L21, which is common in the British Isles too.
There's also this map...
Amarow is right with the density of population north/south. Average of 4-5 % wouldn't be very exceptionnal in France... But then again if we strictly think about frequency, I really, really doubt that Norway/denmark/Netherlands have less redhead than France.
Britanny, France has more redheads than Denmark or the Netherlands or Norway due to strong Celtic blood.
Here in Serbia red hair is very rare, less than 1%. Much more frequent is medium brown hair with a reddish glow, especially among women.
