I find this interesting - switching from driving on the left to on the right - because it's a nice example of a government doing something for long-term public benefit, despite public opposition, and having the population good-naturedly going along.

We can name Sweden a globalized country with high level of knowledge of English. It isn't surprised the state accepted the rule that is obtained for most states in the world. The differences between countries decreases gradually. For example now all people write from left to right but it wasn't so always.

Arabic and Hebrew are still written from the right to the left and the persons who talk those 2 languages in the world are actually about 430 million people (that's just who have them as mother languages).
