Sounds like Porte de La Chapelle in Paris..

Ah well, wealth attracts poverty.
When poverty doesn't appear, it's just because we hide it...

Railways stations and their surroundings are nowhere like wealthy areas, but attracting the most filth. The really wealthy people live in their huge villas with tall fences and just rush through their automated gate with their Bentley once a while.

However, nobody is as poor in Europe (at least Germany) that he has to live on the street, litter everything and solicite. Usually those people are criminals, junkies etc. and I have no problem with them being hidden.

You are never wrong? lol

How about making a little deal: We buy some leverage certificates on CAC40 for lets say $100k. If we make profit, we share 50/50, when we make a loss, you are responsible for the whole loss.

Most, yes. At least it is usually not (only) poverty related. In Germany, everyone who is poor will get an apartment and all necessary living expenses covered by the government.

Could be related to mental disease and being incapable of applying for proper shelter and homes paid by the public, could be related with staying in a country illegally, but the most common reason is that many people do not want to live by the rules of homeless shelters which strictly say no drugs, no alcohol, etc..

This is a strange way to view things. I don't think anyone would choose to live in the street. It's not like the government gives you free housing either, at least not in France where people regularly get evicted for not paying or squatting when they can not afford a rent. Here it's like this as well, people squat abandoned / unsafe houses, then get evicted by the authorities, end up in the streets and the authorities shuts down / destroys the place. Maybe Germany is a socialist paradise compared to here.

France is beautiful. I just wish it would get hold of its economy better.

I've also come to notice cities are a bit dirty, should keep and eye out for that and poverty/crime ridden areas of Paris.

Immigration control is required, too.

Usually when we dig a little bit, tourists complain a lot about transportation, with marvelous hotspots such as Gare du Nord, Les Halles, Auber....or very popular places (that's...historical unfortunately) such as Barbès - Rochechouard on the metro 13.
I directly accuse the Ratp/SNCF for there poor poor cleaning service in the trains, that ruin the image of Paris unfortunately. Like taking the Rer B through the poorest area of France.
But this...will never change unfortunately . Nobody want to pay their badge a little bit more. Parisian want a metro right on time before a clean one, so investments go in priority on rebuilding underground railroads and cables.
And I'm little bit deseperated with the RER, at least they bought 255 new trains, like for the RER D. But how many years of struggle before having an AC ?

At least they are investing a lot everywhere (like les Halles that is under construction for 4 years now). But the problem with french is that we invest a lot in marvelous stuffs and don't take care of them for 40 years (ie, like the RER network ) instead of reducing our expectations a little but have a better maintenance.

Also, the TGV sucked a lot of €€€ that weren't invested in the Parisian transportations. (well, not enough).

They are planning a new Gare du Nord, express train to Cdg airport, renovating the airport, building kilometers of metros to reduce the ultra pressure on inner-Paris...blablabla
A new police for incivilities is patrolling (1800 when it ll be fully operational) etc etc...

But it's never enough and not everyone is playing the game, even tourists.

I hope Paris will dress pretty for the world if we have the games in 2024.

Some cities are... dirty for real (Marseille, Im targeting you specially)
Some of them are totally normal (Bordeaux, Lyon, Strasbourg, Nantes...)

Unfortunately, our country is a little bit heterogenous.

For economy i m quite optimistic (it's been a long time, trust me), one after the other one, every lights are turning green. Finally. After almost 10 years. That will help us.

What? IT IS NOT about money!

You seem not to understand why it is dirty in the metro. It is because Paris is a generous and beautiful city.

Paris is the city which offers the best to homeless people. Therefore all homeless in Europe come to Paris. They know they will get a lot and can sleep in metro stations.
Metro stations are dirty not because of cleanliness but because homeless people live in the metro area in Paris...They make it dirty.

It will never change because, we are France. The country of Human Rights and we let the homeless sleeping and peeing in the metro stations.
