Very similar to the valleys of the Austrian Tyrolean but its mountains is a unique case the World are stuck to
hundreds of beaches of fine sand of the Cantabrian SEA and its climate is tempered.-
Here the first Christians took refuge when the muslim invasion and they created the first Christian Kingdom that did not stop during 800 years until expulsion of Spain.-

Don't give Americans bad ideas, people in Picos de Europa have enough with madriileños .quite unnerving)
Favila was kiled by a bear because he did not eat fabada.
I think Spain is one of the most underrated countries when it comes to its natural beauty. i was browsing through pictures of mountains, lakes and valleys and they are stunning... Places 90% of overseas tourists will never see. Kinda like Greece were people assume that, other than the coast there is nothing else to see. I would put Spain, with, Italy and Greece as countries in Europe with astonishing geographic features most people don't know about. Yes Italian alps are famous but most people haven't been to the apennines or the dolomites. I am talking here about mostly overseas visitors....
Not sure about Spain or Italy, but in Greece, unfortunately very few people nowadays live in such places, the country is overwhelmingly urbanized
For sure the biggest part of the population has always lived near the coasts, but mountains and other beautiful regions were more populated during previous centuries

Spain is also very urbanized. It's where you'll find work.
You have amazing historical sites in cities like Toledo. Beautiful castles, cathedrals, synagogues, and mosques.
There's massive investment in the real estate market in Spain and a lot of poorly maintained buildings are being purchased by investors and renovated. Projects that were abandoned during the crisis are being purchased and completed. The Sun Coast (Anaducia's cost) has become very popular for retirees, digital nomads, people relocating to start businesses, etc. Lots of immigrants there too.
