For the record I'm a 176 cm man myself. Not exactly short in most places but certainly far from tall.

At the company I work for, almost half of our employees are from Eastern Europe, and the staff we get from personnel service provider is by more than 80% from Eastern Europe. On average they are definitely smaller than Germans and above all smaller than the Dutch.
