If Russian standard of living keeps getting I bet in Odessa and Mariupol trouble will start....

Donbass would be better if Ukraine did not bomb the place to pieces and the global community enact trade restrictions against it. The entire living conditions there is due to the actions of Ukraine, not due to them seeking independence.

The way Ukraine has treated the people of Crimea, I have no idea why anyone would want to go back.

Why don't we all just roll back to central Africa from which we all came during the last glacial period of this ice age and leave 95% of the rest of the world untouched?

Because it's not reasonable.

In the same way Gothia, Kingdom of Svea, Bavaria, Valakia etc are not countries anymore, if you want to re-draw a map in Europe you need a war for it. This is not Alaska or something where swathes of land are traded right and left between countries.
If Germany would take back their old territories, they would need to attack both Russia and Poland(NATO) to do it.
If a NATO country attacks another, NATO is obliged to take the side of the attacked side, not the attacker.

So Germany would end up in a war against the short little list of....
Russia, USA, France, UK, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Czech republic, Slovenia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, (technically Iceland, though they lack armed forces), probably Sweden and Finland as a role in their PFP-agreement, and potentially anyone else who wants an easy win and some political favors.

....To win east pressia?...
Even Merkel is not that stupid.

Russia offered to give back Kaliningrad in the early 1990s. Germany had no Interest. Most of East Prussia is located in Poland, not Russia.

The Soviets were pretty good at Ethnic Cleansing, they'd be trying to claim a bunch of Russians or Polish.
