I have watched quite a few of Paul Joseph Watsons videos and agree with him in relation to certain videos more than others.
I did have a good laugh over his modern art videos and his reply to weird youtuber CopperCab etc.
In terms of attacking cities, I think he went a bit over the top in terms of Paris, however France is clearly going through some difficult times, and it looks like Macron's days are numbered. However I think the video has been edited to such an extent that it's not really a totallly true representation of Paris, indeed youtubers often go over the top to try and get a message or opinion across.
Watson also made similar videos regarding San Francisco and Portland, Oregon, and you can find all kinds of videos on youtube and the net that are edited to show places in a negative light.

Watching those videos and being reasonably familiar with Paris, my view is that it isn't nearly that bad. *Most* of Paris is not like this, but the image that Paris has worldwide doesn't lead people to expect to see some of this even occasionally there. I'd also argue that the overall footprint of the parts of the Paris region where this type of stuff goes on and is seen is slowly growing.
I saw a video of the paris metro. It's in dire need of repairs and maintenance.
You saw a video in Republique, the station has water issue due to the renovation of the square above.
This renovation damaged the waterproofing of the station.
Paris has changed in the past 10-15 years. Graffiti all over Western European cities. Not like it used to be.
