I've never been to Ibiza but it seems to heavy for me. Madrid night life is awesome, I like it even though I am not a party girl. But night isn't all "party"

If you're traveling solo, Spanish nightlife is overrated. Typical Spaniards go out in cliques of people they've often had lifelong relationships with, and will ignore you. It's not like in the U.S. where if you are alone and order something with a foreign accent people will start asking you where you are from (assuming you're not sitting alone at a table). I've had this experience in San Sebastian, and I've had this experience in Tarifa.

Seems like even in the winter the Spanish are never inside. I was staying around La Latina and every weekend night I was elbowing my way back home through people.

I love how Spaniards are out late at night, sometimes with the kids, living life.
