Most brunettes in Spain and Italy have brown eyes. I am half Italian and most of my Italian side of the family has brown eyes.
Interesting, but hardly relevant. I'd suspect most brunettes anywhere have brown eyes, and that the 'blue-eyed brunette' is always a bit of a rarity.
Beyond that, I fail to see the point of the thread, and I seriously doubt you'll find an answer unless you consult some University department somewhere which studies such obscure minutiae. Try the Eugenics Department at any reputable university. The public relations desk at 'Stormfront' may be another way you could go....though offhand I'm not sure how you'd contact these folks......
Perhaps old Nazi records exist somewhere, documenting this stuff. The Nazis, I understand, were big on keeping these statistics.
Good luck in your search.
PS I'm surprised to find you're from an interracial family. Feels strange to be "half" something, I'd imagine. Do you 'self-identify' as Italian?
This is probably a pretty accurate response. As for Jeff's response that most Italians and Spaniards with dark hair have brown eyes: that may be true, but dozens of people of those heritages - including myself - have dark hair and blue or green eyes. It's certainly not a rarity; I have lived in Spain and traveled through Italy and France and have seen plenty of people that fit the description of what Jeff wants.
I concour as I am also half Italian, most of my family are dark skinned, brown eyes, black hair
Never seen an Italian with blue eyes before.
Never seen Frank Sinatra?....(aka "Ol' Blue Eyes")...ALL caucasian groups include blue, green, and brown eyes, in differing proportions. There are blue-eyed Turks, Syrians, Iranians, Afghans....MANY blue-eyed Berbers, Greeks. Probably more among Scandinavians, but blue eyes occur throughout the caucasian population everywhere.

All sorts of blonde-haired, blue-eyed Italians in the northern Tyrol region.
