Have lived in both,although London for longer,and both have their strengths,but London would get my vote in the end.
London has more of an edge,more global and more street cred.

Paris. And extra points to France for rejecting Scientology as an official religion and has called them out for what they actually are, a cult. They've also fined them for fraud 900,000$ U.S. dollars, go France.

Since I don't speak French very well and Parisians neglect everyone trying to speak English... the answer is London!
Been to both cities but London is just my favorite large city in Europe so far.
