Riots in Greece. Why?

Maybe most of the US media doesn't feel that there's sufficient interest in the story to run it. Is there a big expatriate Greek population in the US?

greece actually has the best weather for rioting to be honest...not too hot, not too cold... =)

It was initially the protest of young people against what they perceive as a looming police state. And then it became a looting mob. Kinda sad - the initial protesters probably achieved the exact opposite of what they intended...
