All depends what you want to know about the south of France..It's pretty, it's expensive and there are some wonderful sites available if you "google" them. Which part of the south of France are going to. Marsaille, Hyeres or Nice areas? How long are you going to be there and how much is your budget?

It may be hard to get a great deal of useful information regarding a move to France by posting the inquiry in the Wisconsin forum.
