My husband and I have the choice to either live in Prague or Vienna for his job. We have been to Austria many times and loved it. We have lived overseas before in Paris and London and really love the life in Europe. We have three college age children that will be visiting a few times a year. We would like to hear some opinions on living in these cities.

WOW, this is an amazing opportunity. I would love to have these choices.

Both are world class cities filled with architecture and culture. IMO, a person can't go wrong with either. Since both cities are so great my choice would come down to income compared to cost of living.

Vienna is one of the top cities in whole world quality-of-life wise. Maybe the top one.
Prague is way, way, waaay cheaper tho. It depends on your budget and priorities.

If you are from the "West" go Vienna, if you are from the "East" go to Prague, the culture shock will be lesser.
