I dont know what they are called. It looks like you hold it upright (shaped like a dumbell) And it vibrates.
I saw this on TV and wondered if anyone found it a useful tool for shaping upper arms. I get tired of the dumbells/wts and thought maybe this might be a good idea.
Though, it looks like some sort of sex toy
Another idiot device aimed at getting your hard-earned money in their pockets. I also love the "But Wait" We'll send you Two for the price of one! [just pay separate shipping & handling charges!] " ploy. Of course, the shipping charges are always minimal, but it's those "handling charges" where that alone covers all their net-net costs, and the rest is gravy. They often also offer some special "secret" options when they have you on the phone, and you get not much if anything for that.
Try one of those old-fashioned spring pull things(two springs between two handles); you can hook them on a door, or on a bench, or just use them between your arms, and do repetitions every day. Or go swimming; that will work everything else as well!
Otherwise, the arm shaker will end up on the floor of your bedroom closet. no "sexy arms that you've always wanted!" , esp if you're > 45 yrs old and don't do anything else! Or, you know, it might just work as a sex toy, although it does look a bit "man-sized" if you know what I mean....
I've seen some bad infomercials before... this beats the hell out of them all. Anyone who tries to sell that holding something and letting it vibrate in your hand (or you shake it, idk) will build muscle is an absolute moron. Anyone who spends money on it.... well lets not go there
Thanks for the feed back.
When I checked on reviews of the thing, there were alot of positives, very highly rated. Thats why I thought I would ask your opinions on here.
The vast majority of these infomercial "fitness" devices are worthless. This one fits into a category that is easy to spot as being useless. That is the category that includes devices that shake and shimmy and move you around, jiggling you, bouncing you, massaging you, while you pretty much stand still. The device is doing all the work. You have to be the one doing the active moving to get any fitness benefit. That's not happening with devices of this sort.
Good to know I am not the only one who thinks, the thing is more like a sex toy then anything else. I doubt it does anything to tone your arms, I was looking at one the other day while standing in line at walmart, it did not even seem to weigh one pound.

I didn't think it vibrated; I've seen them in stores and played with them for funsies and they never vibrated. I think you have to physically shake them up and down. But like the thighmaster and ab rocker before them I think they are just gimmicks designed to part people from their money.
