I figure if you've never accidentally ripped one during squats or crunches, you're not working hard enough.

Near the end of our weight routines, as I am more fatigued and the weights increase, I get a potty mouth as I struggle to stay strong. My husband has a choice video of me cursing a blue streak during my bench presses.

And yeah, I've been stuck in a sports bra more than once.

I get stuck in my sports bra at at times as well ... sometimes so badly I have to ask someone to help me out of it ... It's one thing to run around the house, looking for the spouse to help me, but if I'm at the gym I have to ask a *gulp* stranger!

As for that ... exhaust ... Yeah. Done that, too. I remember one occasion where both people on either side of me quickly moved to another treadmill. Yipe.

My old gym had a "cardio theater" (I miss that thing! If there was a good movie playing, it was an incentive to stick with the cardio for a loooong time!), and one afternoon I hopped on the elliptical to watch a movie. It was "School of Rock" and at one point I laughed so hard I fell forward; one foot slipped off the pedal and I got wedged between the pedals and the vertical bar of the machine. Ow.

But I stayed on, and watched the movie twice!

I haven't gotten stuck in my sports bras because I can't wear the hookless kind. The girls are a little to large for that!

I do have a bra story though. One time the underwire in one of my sports bras started poking me as I was doing my weight routine. I hurried up and finished my workout and went to the locker room to rip the thing out. Unfortunately I couldn't rip out the other one so I had to do my cardio with one underwire. Needless to say, I finished my workout in the cardio theater.

Sports bras. You gotta love 'em!

I think it's a combination of the sweat and being too weak from exertion to yank it upwards and peel it off. I usually wear the kind with the hooks too.

I've found an easy (well, easier) way to get it off is to slip my left arm between the bra and my torso, and then pull the left side over my left shoulder and head; the right side will inevitably follow. I'm not hopping around the room like I'm on a pogo stick , trying to pull the bra over both shoulders and head at the same time.

My best gym blooper: I was doing incline sit ups for the first time, on one of these:

I got to the last one and my abs were exhausted so I decided to lie there for a few seconds. Imagine my head is against the bench. After my rest, I wasn't thinking, just unhooked my feet. I slid down the bench, smacked my head on the floor like a dumb ass, flopped over backwards... jumped up quickly and looked around to see if anyone in the weight room noticed... everyone noticed and applauded me for the the awesome show I just put on.

Even now, every few months someone who remembers what happened will see me about to do inclines again and will say, "Look out!!!"

I haven't had an incident at the gym because I don't change clothes there. But yes I have major issues with my sports bra! lol I even wear the kind with hooks and STILL struggle to get out of it. I have short arms so I have to pull the straps down, then twist the bra all the way around till the hooks are in the front to unhook it. Even though I have a 20 mile drive from gym to home I still don't cool off enough even with the a/c cranked up for it to dry out the sports bra. So I come home and wrestle with my sweaty bra trying to get it off. Another good one is how some of my exercise pants have inside drawstrings so when the strings get soaked in sweat its hard to untie them and I've nearly wet myself several times trying to untie my pants fast enough to use the bathroom.

One of the reasons why I wont join a gym ever besides cost is that I am a clutz. The kind of cluts who goes running and flips onto her back with everyone else running right by her, the kind of clutz who can walk out a door and some how end up face down on the ground, I fall going up the stairs, I once ran inot a corner of our house growing up and broke my collar bone, I do arobics like I walk wich in a room full of people would be a nightmare. The only thing i do well without falling, tripping or getting a bruise is yoga(go figure) so I do everything in the privecy of my own home when everyone else is asleep so I do not put them in danger also.
