I think its great when folks in our group start the thread, just make sure to add the word exercise thread in the post title so everyone knows where to check in

No walk this morning I have a bunch to do for the last day at "plant camp"

Werid I woke up this morning with my left ear blocked. So I feel like I am hearing things in a tunnel. Not to mention when I talk I sound really loud.

You'll get your life back and them some ... robyn.

Way to go Mr. Hoo!! Aren't mornings wonderful!

Another lovely day here weather wise! Waiting for the hubster to get out of bed as he wants to go walking this morning. Yesterday I got the grand and very long tour on foot, of the neighborhood where he grew up.

Hope everyone has an outstanding day!

Gooood Morning!

Took the dog to the park this morning. Spent an hour walking, chasing squirrels, and trying to drink every last drop in 3 bottles of water.

Robyn, Shadow & I wish you well. We missed whatever is going on, but it doesn't matter. Cyber Hugs!

Hi everyone!!

Okay, Our town is FLOODED. Have you guys been watching the national news? We live in Granbury, Texas and we are all over the new for 2 days now. We live on lake Granbury but our home and our neighbors are not flooded. It's the people living in low lying areas and they are real close to the rivers and creeks which feed into lake Granbury. My heart goes out to them.

It's rained here in Granbury for over a month straight it seems. Sure we had some days with no rain but not many. It has done a lot of damage and killed many people (2 in Granbury in the last month). Just like anything else, too much of anything is not good (except money and love of course).

Anyways, It's still raining and so there is no walking little Chloe today. I'm going to gather clothes, blankets, some dog food and stuff I don't use anymore and take them to a local church here, who is housing some 50 plus people (and their pets) who had to evacuate from their homes.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy day!!

I'm so tired! I woke up at 5:30am to get to the campus at 7am so I could find a professor. I found out he's done with summer school and no longer goes to campus that early. I was SO MAD! Anyway, my chest muscles were still sore from 2 days ago so I decided to just do the treadmill - 40 MIN, 2.6 miles. I'm shooting for 3m/40min but I think I have a long ways to go. It was sad b'c my pace while jogging was 3.7m/hr but the lady in front of me was WALKING at 4.0m/hr. I cover my stats while I jog with my towel ... I should start covering other people's stats! hehe

foma-don't you worry about the other people's stats-work toward your own goals, and meeting and beating them-you sound like you're doing great! As for going back to school, when my son graduated from college in May, there was a mother and son who graduated together! So, while you might feel old around those 18 year olds, imagine how that mom felt-she graduated from high school in 1974!!
In other news, I'm off to do a little bit of working out, but not too much. Feel kind of weak, and i guess tossing and turning all night doesn't count as exercise--does it? Huh? Maybe???
