I like that. May have to incorporate that into my workout!

Yeah, I learned it while I was in the Army. Better than doing all 50 pushups and all 50 crunches/situps all at once. It's good to change it (do 10 of one and then switch to 10 of the other. And keep going to you hit 50 on both. And you got 100 of them all together).
I can do 40 pushups at a stretch, normally I do 100 a day in 4 sets, 30 sets of pyramid pushups, followed by 30 sets of normal pushups, followed by 30 sets of wide arm pushups, and then 10 flying pushups with both my arms off the ground at the same time. I take a break of 1 min. between sets.
That apart, I do 50 pull ups a day, 10 wide arm pull ups, followed by 10 chin ups with arms facing my side, 10 chin ups with arms facing each other to the sides, then pull myself to a total of 20 more mixing up all the pull ups. I can only do 10 pull ups at a stretch at a given time though, I take a rest of 1 min between successive sets.
I can do a consecutive set of 30 dips at a stretch, do around 60 dips per day.
I'm 44 and can do 25-30 and that's enough. My arms are disproportinatly way longer than the average so it's along way down to get my chest about an inch from the floor.
76. I do pushup sets and bench press 3 times per week.
Don't you think 3 times a week of the same/very similar movement might be overtraining just a tad?
Right now, I could probably do 35 consecutive good push-ups. I just had knee arthroscopy, but if my Doc says push-ups are OK, I'm going to start the 100 Day Challenge. You do as many consecutive push-ups as you can on day one, day two you do one more than that, day three you do one more than day two, etc. I don't expect to add a rep every day, but I'm interested to see what my total will be at the end of the 100 days...
I'm 36 yrs old, 6'4" and my sleeve length is 36/37 in.
I could do a lot more push-ups until I slowed down and focused on my form. When I slowed down I found I could do signficantly less than when I was just pushing up and down as fast as possible--think I get a better work-out doing fewer, at a slower pace--definitely feel more burn this way. Pull-up's are my nemisis--was building up and then strained my lower biceps or tendons (not sure which) severly--haven't been able to do a single pull up in 2 months without excruciating pain so, laying off of that in hope of some healing.
I can do about 70 push-ups, and I can do about 78 sit-ups in a minute.
