Question to all you gym nuts and junkies:Am I doing something wrong?
Why is that the other woman who I work out with at the gym lose weight 10 times faster than I do? They eat greasy pizza, fried chicken, fast food, and all that other good stuff but yet they still manage to stay pretty thin.
Me, on the other hand, have been struggling with my weight for years. I eat healthy and exercise 2 times a day, I have been doing this for about 2 months now and have only managed to loose a pathetic 5lbs! I eat healthy foods, exercise, tried multiple diets over the years, and still have not lost any good weight. Please....what the hell am I doing wrong?
I am tired of being called a fat ***** by my gym friends, I am tired of being the odd one out.

I don't know what advice to give you in regards to exercise and dieting, but others who call you a "fat *****" aren't your friends.

Alright people lets stick to the subject and not get thrown off by the name calling.
OP, you exercise 2 times per day. What exactly are you doing on these two visits to the gym?
Also, what shape (height and weight) are you in currently?

I go on treadmill for an hour at the gym and I also follow exercise DVDS for an hour at home. I plan to buy a treadmill for my birthday so I can do the exercises at home.
I am 5'0 and 340lbs.

there are no such things as healthy foods. there are only calories.
i can assure you that if your friends are losing weight eating terribly and you arent then they are either throwing up after their meals or your perception of what they are doing isnt accurate. people dont eat like pigs and lose weight. you arent losing enough weight? eat less. you dont know what your friends are doing.

I understand the fustration, I understand it alot. In this world, there will be times when others have life easier than you but you will have to sit down and find your inner strenghth. this means to never give up to achieve what you want. Have some time to talk to your self. Love yourself first babe, nothing is as important as loving your self first.

Yeah I would agree with this. And OP: are you keeping track of the calories you are eating per day, and how many you are burning with exercise?
If you are creating a calorie deficit, then you will lose weight.

Comparing your progress to that of others isn't going to help you. Focus on yourself.
If you need moral support and companionship to make workouts more palatable to you, be more careful about who you work out with...limit it to people who are actually supportive of you, not people who denigrate you.

Nothing wrong with 5 pounds in 2 months. Results can take awhile, stick with it for two years and you can get the results you want.
