Anyone every carb cycled? Share your story/results/experience?

Today is my day 1 for carb cycling. I am not used to structured diets so this will be new for me. Kind of a perfectionist and trying to take it to the next level so following a precontest carbcycling diet. Am about 17-18% body fat and want to be 15% or less. Definitely don't ever, ever diet. Thought I was lightheaded this morning then realized that was impossible if I've only been on the diet for 2 hours (LOL) I started with the no carb day because I want the days to fall on the days of the week that way, so tomorrow will start with day 1 of the low carb (pretended like today was day 2 of the no carb)

Me Before:
Lift 4-5 days week for about 45-60 min,
20-30 min cardio about 4-5 times week (HIIT or just run 3-4 miles)
Eat: Healthy, 100-120 protein daily, 1600-1800 cal daily, as much carbs as I want, healthy fats, though I do eat ice cream about 4x week (yes embarassing)

Now: Same workout routine
Eat: 4 low carb days 1500 cal, 165 protein, 105 carbs, 32 fat (TUES-FRI)
1 high carb day: 2100 cal, 164 protein, 275 carbs, 12 fat (SAT)
2 no carb days: 1600 cal, 164 protein, 21 carbs, 75 fat (SUN & MON)

Seems complicated... how about just eating in a healthy, balanced manner on a day to day basis, and stop futzing around with the carbs?

Yes, its complicated lol. Its also for advanced fat loss for competitors and advanced athletes, etc. Giving results that just good old regular healthy balanced eating does not give. Hence the futzing

I follow the Anabolic Solution (Dr. Mauro Di Pasquale) which works different ways depending on what phase you are in. The weight loss phase starts out with a 12 day period of very low carbs and then shifts to a 5 day on/2 off cycle.

I am very fit, highly athletic and have never been fat in my life... all thanks to eating a balanced diet.
