That's a completely unfair assessment. People talk about things that are important to them. Just because they do, doesn't mean they're trying to force those things on others. We all have different hobbies and interests, and there's nothing with talking to friends and family about said hobbies and interests.

I disagree. I think they are reading that into it, when it's just not there. I have several friends who, due to medical conditions, have to be on restricted diets.

I certainly don't look at that as being preachy. I look at that as doing something good for their health.
