Was that one of the same sites that claims that the Kardashian married to Lamar Odom (Kourtney?) is a size 6? If that chick is a size 6 I'm a -4. All I'm saying is that I wouldn't trust celebrity websites to give accurate waist measurements.

Instead of searching for celeb measurements, why not just measure your wife? Or would she slap you upside the head for not believing her?!

Maybe he already teased her and he knows that if he goes after her with a tape measure she'll kick his ass.

Oh, and sucking in while measuring is cheating. Some people do that. I just let it hang loose otherwise I'd measure 2" less.

I guess some people are just built really narrow so they will be narrow throughout - i.e. some African women have amazingly tiny waists and hips.

But if you are talking about health purposes, I guess anything over 28-32" (adjusted for height of course) might be cause for concern.

Celebrity hype! That's not close to 18", maybe 24" first picture, 22" 2nd pic.

She would more than likely slap me. Unfortunately, she's on vacation until mid July visiting family in the old country. I'll just have to go on memory and guess her measurements. Signed, the Lonely Guy.

What confused me until recently is that pant/jeans sizes are not synonymous with waist measurements. I always thought that if you wore a size 24-25 in jeans, like I do, that is how many inches you are in the waist, but that is not accurate. Maybe everyone else knew this except for me lol?

I have seen women with tiny waists - probably under 23". But the vast majority of women measure larger. I think I read that the "average" woman measures around 37".

I'm not particularly tall (around 5'5 1/2") but my own waist has never been under 25". Even when I weighed 115 pounds, which was underweight for my frame.

Right now I'll be happy with anything 35" or below - which is what is recommended for women to be healthy. I'm not sure what an ideal (cosmetic) waist measurement would be - on my frame maybe 25/26 but on other frames the number would probably be different.

I have to wear like size 29 or 31 in jeans or something horrible. A comfortable waist measurement for me is ~26 (I eat like a hog so I need the extra breathing room).

Jean size totally does not correlate with my waist size. Most girls with waists 3-4 inches larger than me wear smaller sized jeans.

I hate jeans, they are all ill-fitting. They just don't make them right for women with small waists and bubbly butts. My butt isn't even wide or anything the junk is mostly in the rear.
