I think most people don't realize that you really have to push yourself to see a difference, and it's unlikely one would normally do this to one's self. That's why I recommend "Insanity". You'll see results in 2 to 4 weeks.

My motivation for going to the gym, is that I paid in advance for a 2-year membership. I hate wasting money. And so, I go. Every week, at least three times weekly.

I have 2 pound dumbbells at home for days where I just can't drag myself back out again after working, I'll do fast-rep chest pushes and curls and reverse curls and flies and reverse flies and lat raises with them, just to remind my muscles that they have a job to do until I get back to the gym.

AnonChick you have had great results and you should be proud of yourself. Inspiring, really. I got a six month membership because we are moving in December, but I hear you on not wanting to waste the money!

I noticed that going to the gym makes me more motivated to eat better. I don't want the hard work at the gym to go to waste!

Those are the only words to remember! Once you make it a habit going to the gym, and eating right most of the time, it will be like second nature. I feel like that is what most people forget. You don't just eat right and go to the gym for a few months then stop....what's the point? Make it a lifestyle change and you will see results and the results will stick...
