Wheat bread and brown rice are complex carbo which is good..
They may be good for you for other reasons but they still stand between you and getting down to fat free abs. You should eat those only after you've gotten to your goal unless you don't mind taking the slow boat to get there.
i would say that nothing has been more challenging than attempting to get a six pack. its not about what you eat, its about what you dont eat. starve yourself and run like a maniac.
right now i have some ab definition but not perfect. this has been the least torturous diet process as its kind of been an over time consistent situation rather than a go crazy and cut fast situation.
A 6-pack is 50% diet, 50% exercise. I dunno why people keep spreading the myth that it's 90% diet. I think those people just read about how to get abs but haven't actually done it. If you diet down to 8% without working out, you'll look like a freaking starving Ethiopian villager. Is that the look you want??? Abs on a skin-and-bones guy is not attractive. A 6 pack only looks good when goes with pecs, wide lats & shoulders, and big arms. Plus you need to do ab work to make them stand out.
You need to do strength training, ab workouts, cardio, AND eat a sensible diet.

Abs are made in the kitchen. You don't need to exercise your abs in able to see them.
I can do countless situps and crunches but if I have fat on my stomach, they will not go away.
Of course six pack looks good with a big chest but this topic is about Abs only but other body parts.

I agree. For cardio, i suggest long distance running. Also avoiding alcohol and beer.

.
If you have visceral fat on your stomach you will never see your ABS. You will need to burn the fat first and then work on getting abs.
