Gentics does play a big part, but as I said again, so does the 3000-4000 more calories that hammer throwers put in per day as well as their specific strength training program makes that happen.
The average woman who gets all "hardcore into strength training" as you say, will have a much much muich much better chance at looking like this:
or this:
Even then, that's a toss up. The average woman don't have that type of dedication or will-power.
What is your objective?
Muscles are a good thing. They raise your metabolic rate so you burn calories more efficiently.
If you go down to 1000 calories and do an hour of cardio you will stall your weight loss. Your body will hold onto its fat because it thinks it is starving. You must fuel your body with the proper foods and enough calories so it can work properly.
A combination of cardio and weight training is your best option for weight loss and overall health. You will also look better than if you just drop the weight from cardio. The weights will tone your body. If you are afraid of bulking up don't be. it is EXTREMELY hard for women to look muscular. You would have to devote yourself to weight lifting and even then its hard to bulk up.
You said muscle doesn't get burned from doing cardio and dieting. You said fat gets burned off before muscle does.
I have 125 pounds of muscle mass already and 33% body fat.
All I want to do is just get my bf percentage down, and tone without adding muscle mass.
I feel I already have a lot of muscle,125 pounds of it.

You need a lot of muscle. Otherwise, your bone structure will be held up by fat, making you weak and giving you joint/back/etc problems.
Muscle does get burned off during cardio. It's important you lift weights or do some sort of muscle building to at least maintain your muscle mass. You can't necessarily "tone" without adding muscle mass.
Unless a woman takes steroids it's not possible for them to get as bulky as a man because they don't have the amount of testosterone present. Good for you Staci! You did what more people need to do, EDUCATE YOURSELF! Quit relying and the bullsh*t fitness magazines and LEARN YOUR BODY!!!

Muscle does not burn before fat. Fat is a more efficient fuel for the body to burn. The only time your body is going to burn muscle is when it has no fat left to burn.
I don't think she looked horrible before, but she looks much better now. I always say that the structure of a woman is important, but not as important as her fitness level. She has a nice structure, which you can now see because she is much more fit than before.
She looks good but does anyone know what her BF composition is..She is all muscles which results in her 140 lb frame..I personally like her "regular" skinny toned look and muscular although i dont like bodybuilder legs which cant tell if she has.
