Actually, his response was "on topic".

See the last poll option from the OP:
"I don't belong to a gym"
He also elaborated by telling why he chooses to no longer belong to a gym.

Now I'm a dick.

Feel free to publicly ridicule me.

This is where I practice my humility people.

Equinox. I know, i know... its so expensive but you get for what you pay for. When it comes to cleanliness no one beats Equinox.

Employer owned fitness center (employer is a hospital). Nothing fancy and not 24 hours. It's next to work, employee discounts, registered nurses in the cardio machine room, trainers in the weight room, and available yoga and dance aerobics classes. No huge steroid freaks and no wimpy buzzer to evict someone if they get let out a little grunt when lifting heavy weights. Only needles I saw were insulin, not roids.

Because of everything I do, I needed a gym I could go to anytime day or night (last night, I went at 130am, for instance). Planet Fitness was the only one within running distance that offered me this.

I belong to California Family Fitness, go to reformer Pilates at a private studio and I work out with an independent personal trainer who comes to my house. Love it!!

Geez....i should be in better shape, but I'm getting there & loving it along the way.

My garage is now my gym but I am strongly considering getting another membership to Equinox. I LOVED that gym. Its just a couple of blocks from both home and work, so I could very easily head there for a lunchtime workout or (like I used to do) get there at opening at 5:30 for an AM workout.

This vid kinda help reminded me of one of the reasons I LOVED Equinox so much. Here is a link to my local Equinox Club - Southern California Fitness Clubs | Equinox Fitness in Woodland Hills

This chick would be considered one of the lesser attractive chicks working out at the local Equinox.

There's no doubt Equinox is one of the best gym in the country. Ive never been at the one in Woodland Hills, how is it ?
I have the executive memebership that gives me the chance to go to all of them around the country but i only go to the one in West Hollywood and Beverly Hills. I should go to the one in Westwood or the one on Sepulveda because they have pools.
Does the one in Woodland Hills have a pool ?

Its VERY nice. Very very nice. Equinox gyms are really the Four Star Spa Resorts of gyms IMO. Its very much like the other local Equinox gyms - very high end, affluent, sophisticated clientle (LOTS of A and B list celebs), great classes, so super clean that even the restrooms would get an "A" rating if they were restaruants. Mrs. Lao says "Equinox seems to only for the pretty people, all other gyms are for everyone else."

Only downside is that there is a Crossfit gym less than a 1/4 mile away for only $15-$25 dollars more per month. Equinox is the ONLY gym I will EVER sign up for outside of a CF gym. Would never do Ballys, 24HR Fitness (although Magic Johnson's 24HR in Sherman Oaks was okay), Golds, LA Fitness ever again.
