Im 5'10 180ish, size 34. I think im pushing the slim look to its limit though. Im more wide than thick, my chest is really the only thick part of my body. Thanks to my pecks (slowly turning into fat) and pretty big shoulder blades. If I wear a loose shirt, it makes me look way bigger than what I actually am. My back is also curved in so that doesnt help either lol. I look like a good 200 pounder with clothes on.
slim is the only hot type of guy imo. If he's not slim. I'd like some girls more than him. Too muscular is actually worst than being too thin as long as he's not like dying I dig it completely.... Muscles are overrated I like the outlining of a tall slim perfectly built guy. Too much muscle messes that up for me.
Are you living in the deep south? Come to southern California, and you would be considered "chubby" by many fitness conscious people here. I'm not agreeing with them, I think your height/weight is fine, but I think this is a geographic thing. 6'0 and 185 isn't "too thin" by any stretch of the imagination.
I was called tiny by a woman while being 5'8" and 185 not too long ago.
You sound like you have an inferiority complex. I'm your height and 20 pounds lighter and women don't tell me I'm "tiny". They usually say I look fit.
I am just relating what was said to me that was relevant to what I was replying to. I don't think I am tiny, yet that woman thought I was at that weight and height.
I'm 5'11, 161 pounds. I was at 190 pounds last year. I was down to 154 a few months ago and I was told repeatedly and felt too skinny.
Everyone thought I looked fine at 190 but those people saw me with my shirt on...I had a gut. My 34" pants were getting tight. I'm down to a 31" and was at 30" when I was at 154.
I have somewhat skinny legs and broad shoulders so I look kinda odd regardless, lol.
I am 6' and about 240 and 46 years old. I have gained about 20 pounds following an Injury which left me unable to run or do much of anything for 6 months.
When I was at my fittest in life, about age 35-40 I was 215 to 220 and doing a lot of running and rock climbing. I ran my first and last marathon when I was 38 and ran lots of halfs. Unfortunently I buggered my ankles in a rock climbing fall about 6 years ago and reinjured the left while running 1 year ago so no more running for me.
People always ask me if I bodybuild and although I have been known to go to the weight room now and then I never was interested in building my muscle mass it just came that way. I did and do train for sailboat racing and rock climbing.
I often wish I could be naturally skinny as I am always struggeling with my weight. On the other hand, I have friends who workout constantly and can´t seem to get a muscle on there body no mater how hard they try.
I like my massive arms, shoulders, chest as they are. No matter how hard I try I seem to always have a bit a soft belly.
Someone recently told me that the average US male's height has grown 1" in the past 30 years while his weight has rocketed up almost 30 lbs. Obesity is becoming such an epidemic that people think being overweight is normal now, which is why 'slim' men receive comments about being too small.
Hmmm, interesting. It depends on one's frame and how much they can carry. Personally, I look "skinny" if I go under 220. Right now I'm about 240, down from 260+ at 6ft 3 at my best. I lift wieghts and want to be bigger, so it's not a bad thing for me. I seem to hover around 245 or so give or take 10 pounds. Relatively low bf%. 200 pounds lbm.
Under 220 and I look like a clothes hanger. No thanks.
