...and have to maintain a rigorous diet to keep their weight in check. What do you eat? How do you manage your weight?
I'm 5'4-5" ish 125lbs (2.5 lbs of that is silicone lol). I've been as much as 30-40 lbs heavier and I would say if I don't watch what I eat my natural weight would probably hover around 140lbs.
My diet normally consists of two meals a day (I'm very busy, work 7 days a week). And I'm a vegetarian.
One at 11 am: Usually tofu, black beans and rice or an omelette with feta and spinach and a side salad.
One at 5pm: Vegetable empanadas or a veggieburger with cheese and a side salad.
How would you improve upon this diet for more fitness and continued weight loss? No meat eating suggestions, not happening.
You should eat at 12, 5 and 7 if you are too busy to eat. I'd also suggest cut out the veggie burger and replace it with an omelet. If you eat 3x a day your third meal could be the omelet and do the vegetable empanadas + small serving of brown rice.

I like eggs but I don't like to eat them every day. I feel better when I eat more veggies. I also really like tofu a lot. Maybe replace the veggieburger sometimes with a tofu scramble? That has a ton of protein.
That sounds good. I was a vegetarian for two years and still lifted (somehwat heavy), so I just ate around six eggs a day and a ton of tofu and pb sandwiches.
I've effectively managed my weight by eating 5-6 meals per day. I don't know why people think fewer meals per day = weighing less. It doesn't work that way.
5-6 meals per day doesn't "speed metabolism" like some people think. It does however, force people to eat less (generally), because those that only eat 2 meals per day, generally overeat at those two meals per day.

What I've been doing works for me. Everyone has to figure out what works for them.
Maybe fewer meals a day works for them.
