ghetto booty- a cute/funny/dumb way to describe a large butt
Oh the irony. I remember when most non black women didn't want a big butt, ergo, does this make my butt look big, but now, having a big butt is all the rage. Most use to make fun of black women with big butts and I use to see women killing themselves in the gym to lose what is deemed a big butt, but now, having a one is cute and fun. I guess.
I didn't really realize it until I ripped a pair of my skinny jeans but ever since I started doing squats and leg press work outs, and jogging... my butt blew up. My hips used to measure 36 inches but now they're 40 inches. They were 36 inches BEFORE I started working out.
I seriously went from a size 2 to a size 6 or 8 depending on the brand.
I'm not too worried but I'm noticing cellulite now .
I'm a runner so I don't think I should be getting cellulite. How can I get rid of my cellulite without getting too muscular?
you can blame some butt development on squats, but that cellulite was yours to begin with!
Run, jog, walk and run some more. I don't know about curing 'ghetto booty' but It'll improve your overall appearance and possibly get rid of cellulite. Try to stop eating all sugar and processed foods and see what happens.
Squats will cause your bum to round out and protrude more. I love that effect, as opposed to the flat saggy bottom look. Cellulite just means you are growing up. Most people say 80-90% of women have cellulite. I say the other 10-20% just don't have it YET. 100% of women will have cellulite. Age of onset varies. Those squats and your running will keep it as minimal as possible. I'm sure you look great!

I wouldn't discount it to age until your diet is clean.
Most people have it because most people indulge in those foods or are on hormonal BC.
You can run and squat till your eyes fall out but it won't wipe out a badly balanced intake.
NEVER stop squatting. NEVER. Squats along with deadlifts are the BEST exercises outside of RUNNING that you can do.
Squatting will NOT give you what one person calls "ghetto booty". You've seen all the super fit, non bodybuilding women we've posted who do Crossfit, which is squat heavy, and have seen that those women almost ALL have great, fit, sexy, bodies, but have you ever seen a "ghetto booty" like what the OP describes? NO.
Dont be ridiculous, NEVER stop squatting.

Single leg squats and weighted lunges are your friend. People don't get big bootys from squats unless your squatting super heavy.
