Why are strong guys who are kind to others taken for granted and used as workhorses .
What the heck is that? "manual laboratory press"
And who is "she"?
Sorry to hear...that's a very odd request. I would have told her to go to her supervisor.

as for me, finally learning to not complain about the heat. Walked in to the gym & it felt like I was walking into a furnace. 100F+, no a/c. Within 30m, I was soaked & never really thought about it again.

So....jog/walk intervals x 30m
flat bench SS cable flys (increased bench press again...slowly moving back to my PR)
incline bench SS preacher press
pushups
bar dips
tricep extensions
back circuit

...................
Got asked to participate in a pilot mobility group with our physical therapist...only thing, it's at 645 am on saturday mornings. Ugg.

A manual laboratory press is the stuff used in our machine shop. This girl who was just another Mechanical engineering student was unable to use the press due to lack of strength. She asked me to help use the machinery, and as the nice guy I helped. She took advantage of my kindness and made me do all the physical work she wanted to finish at once. I complained to the supervisor about this.

Time to learn to say "no". Even to a pretty girl, if she's trying to kill ya.

Hit the gym in full adrenaline after 2 days of bad back pain. Did my usual routine, but went a little light on the shoulders.

Like I said, I am a fighter and strive to stay fit.

Let's see:

Went up and down a ladder several times carrying 4x8 sheets of plywood to use as roof sheathing.
Nailed the plywood down.
Carried several rolls of tarpaper up the aforementioned ladder.
Unrolled and stapled the tarpaper to the roof sheathing.
Carried several bundles of shingles up the ladder.
Began installing shingles until I ran out of daylight.
For cool down threw about 800 pounds of construction debris into a dumpster.

You were saying?
