My typical Sunday workout is 20 minutes of skipping rope and 12 sets of back training.

Ran around for about four games of pick-up soccer with my kids at the park. It's been awhile since I've done any sprints. Which means I'm huffin' and puffin' and pretty sore right now. But it's fun and it's good for me.

Meh. Supposed to be rest day, but kidlet wants to do cardio. DH and I can't run so we make take the bikes, and run the dogs AND the kidlet.

Or lay around the house all day and watch the SuperBowl....

Since it will be my birthday tomorrow - and hence a day or two off nursing a probably hangover - I decided to push myself hard this morning with a good 18 mile run, which is the furthest I have done this year.

It was okay, but well below my usual timings for that distance.

40 mins elliptical and treadmill, increased run speed towards the end. worked biceps, tris, back, chest (bench 85#, trying to hit 100# in a month or so. making sure bar hits chest, so I did less reps tonight :/ ), shoulder shrugs (45# dumbbells), lat pulldown with that gripper thingy attachment, lol. ran a mile as warmup. Inquired about MMA lessons, the coach is a fighter training for UFC, so he's offering cheap training sessions at $20/hr! really thinking about signing up but would hate to surrender one of my regular workout days. as cut and dry as my regular workouts are at least i know i get a decent one, not sure about this but..hmmm.
