I have a ninja and I love it. I use almond milk and greek yogurt as the base, sometimes with pomegranate juice, and then add spinach leaves, coconut flakes, raw almonds, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, broccoli stems, peanut butter, avocado, a mineral supplement, a greens mix, a berry supplement and I think that is it...i've ordered a weight gain supplement (or its just a really high cal protein powder mix) so I'll start adding that. sounds gross and I guess it is, but my life is so busy and it is something healthy I can gulp down on my way to work
They're VERY filling and I think they're pretty healthy as well as delicious.
But like someone in this thread said, you can save TONs of money by making your own. They're actually very pricey and not something I'd be able to afford drinking 3 times a day, everyday.
I recently bought a Vitamix and LOVE IT!
Some people swear by the Blendtec, some love their Ninja.
The Ninja, from what I've heard, requires you to do more work before you put it in the blender if you really want a smooth consistency.
The Blendtec makes more of a frothy mix.
The Vitamix has a smoother consistency, like what you'd expect for a smoothie. You can make a lot more than Smoothies in it, the same goes for the Blendtec.
You can also find comparison videos on Youtube. I chose the Vitamix because a lot of my favorite food bloggers use it, it was the only I originally considered, and it has a lot lengthier track record. I think if you're going to make a commitment to healthier eating and want a blender to go along with it, you get what you pay for. You can buy a Ninja, but it probably won't last 10+ years like say a Vitamix. I'm not familiar with Blendtec's track record.

Reason: Adding links
I'd reconsider HB. They always seem to have quality issues. Spend more to ensure a better quality product.
Which ones would you recommend?
