So many threads on what people wear on City Data. I wear what most of the women wear to the gym: spandex/cotton capris, sports bra with a tank over it. When I was in better shape I wore the sports bra without a top over it because it was hot in the gym. I tried wearing spandex type shorts but found my upper legs sticking to the machines.
Yes there are woman who go to the gym to have guys ogle them but there are just as many, like myself, who go to keep in shape. I rarely notice what anybody else is wearing unless it's just completely crazy.
Just wondering this while walking around my gym the other day. Women supposedly claim they dont want to get hit on at the gym and thats fine. So why can they just wear shorts/tshirts instead of these ridiculous spandex outfits and tank tops. Of course they are on the cardio eqpt.
Welcome to the modern world, where women can wear whatever they damn well please while still being treated with respect.
A woman's clothes are not an invitation nor do they require you to interpret any message from them.
She's wearing workout clothes to work out. Leave her alone.
You don't get to decide what women can wear or should wear or need to wear.
This is confirmed by the fact that many girls have to tie their shoes every 10 minutes or take slowly something they dropped on the floor, in order to let you analyze and record the shapes in every aspect.
I absolutely guarantee that women don't tie their shoes for your benefit. Are you listening to yourself?

wow...calm down.
Yes, a woman's clothes SHOULD NOT be an invitation for one to interpret any message from them, but SOME women do tend to dress just to get "attention" from the opposite sex. Like this video:
