Read the OP please: "do you think.....could take on the average man". Answer is no, as discussed extensively, as the average woman in these fields do not receive enough training to overcome the weight and strength difference with the average man.
Being a SEAL has nothing to do with fighting.
If size had nothing to do with fighting, there would be no weight classes in competitive fighting...

Mike Tyson was a heavyweight weighing in at 220+lbs, I would not call that small by any means, especially given his height. Goodness, what planet do you live on to describe Mike Tyson as small?

Mental? nope, sorry, only in your delusional mind do you think simply "wanting" will overcome a skill and/or size disadvantage. But if it helps you pat yourself on the back, so be it.

I have no idea what this has to do with the OP. We are not talking about brawls, police, FBI, etc do not engage in brawls.

"Properly" trained is the key word. The average cop, FBI, etc are not trained very well at all, not even close to it.

So, what is the verification process? Is there a form they fill out? An interview? And who is "they" that teach this? What is "formerly" trained means? What is formal training?

Define extremely large please. High body fat? Height? Weight?
Oh yes, the myth that the larger someone is, regardless of how in shape they are, will gas out quicker; this is the perpetual myth brought on by some bantam weights to make themselves feel better.
