I'm 5 ft 3 and 135. I look my best at around 121 and that was what I weighed in the Marines. At 135, I am still withing the weight limits for female Marines and a 5 ft 4 woman at 140 would also be within the regulations of the Marine Corps.

This beautiful woman is 5'5, 160 lbs.

A lot depends on your build. Some people have an endomorph body type.

Fat and muscle weight the same. The differences in their density is what makes a person "fat". There also huge benefits in carrying the pound of muscle versus fat.

A pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. An equal volume of fat and muscle do not weigh the same. That's like saying putty and iron weigh the same.

Huh? Aren't we saying the same thing? A pound of putty is the same as a pound of iron.

I want her arms!!! Damn, she is gorgeous! Anyone who would fixate on her weight number is crazy, she has a perfect figure! And yeah, she is carrying a lot of muscle, so the scale doesn't always give the true picture. Someone incredibly fit like that woman is going to look a lot slimmer at a higher weight than the average woman who does not exercise or train at all. I am not quite as fit as her (yet) but I have a lot more muscle than most women especially for my age (60s) and am tall so I can weigh more and look smaller than another woman my height and weight if she does not exercise. Even my own doctor told me NOT TO GET HUNG UP ON THE NUMBER ON THE SCALE!!! What matters is fitness and size

Is someone gonna break out here and tell me a woman who is 5'4 with about 125 pounds of toned, fit muscle on her....plus say 30 pounds of fat evenly distributed between hips and bust...is fat???? Let's not even throw in that her natural bone structure/build tends towards "curvaceous" not fat and flabby trying to be "curvy" but firm, toned curves...38 28 38?

In a parallel universe of miniature women who stay slim despite never setting foot in a gym, maybe. But 155 pounds on a body that is not toned by working out is going to look WAY different than 155 pounds on a 5'4 woman who is disciplined about what she eats and her training.

But let's be real: does the average woman have more muscle or fat? The 150lbs+ the average woman is carrying is nothing but pure fat, not muscle
