Don't know how tall you are but if you're mainly eating 3000 calories a day that's probably way more than you need because your gaining weight.

I've seen a lot of complaints about how bad the food on Nutrisystems tastes, but I haven't tried it personally.

That is a horrible way to do it and the reason you aren't losing weight. If you can't be disciplined enough to eat 1,500ish calories a day split out into 4-6 meals then by all means join Nutrisystem if it will make you be more disciplined.

Keep running and stop packing in 3000 calories before you go to bed and you'll start to see results.

Fyi...there are plenty of these out there but here's a decent site to give you a rough estimate of how many calories you should take in a day to maintain weight based on age, height, weight and activeness:

Do sprints, intervals, HIT and bodyweight exercises. I have a friend who runs 10 slow miles per day. He's thin, weak looking and has bad knees. Me.. I'm 10 years older than him, I do sprints, intervals, HITT and bodyweight exercises. I can beat him in a 1.5 mile race, look better with my shirt off and don't have any knee or joint problems.

You cannot outrun your fork.

Two salads as big as your head a day (no high fat/sugary dressing, cheeses, pastas, meat), 2-4 fruits, half a cup of any nut, and a nice serving of lean protein somewhere in there.

Water only to drink.

Do this x 4 weeks and tell us how you feel/look.

I wasted money on Nutrisystem a few years back. Nutrisystem food is god-awful! Have you ever had C-rations? I worked for the forest service way back in the 1970's as a firefighter, and when we'd go on fires, we'd have those horrible c-rations that come sealed and have a life span of about 100 years. That's what Nutrisystem food is.

All you have to do is count calories. Exercise, while good for you, does not burn enough calories to lose weight. Ever run on a treadmill that tells you how many calories you've burned? It's depressing! Exercise does not make you lose weight. Losing weight is all about the almighty calorie. You can count your own calories. You don't need some fancy system to do it for you.

If you're too lazy to weigh food, etc., then just figure out how many calories a day you want to consume, then go buy some frozen meals that taste good that total that amount of calories.

Easy peasy (she laughs hysterically, with her fat belly lol!). I know what to do, I just don't do it...

Are you ramping up your appetite through exercise? Probably. Then you are over eating.

Read "The Zone".

Apply it.

Want to lose 5 pounds like, right now? Sit in a cold tub of water and read a book. Your body will quietly go ballistic trying to keep itself warm.

The exact opposite of what you are currently doing. One 2000-3000 calorie meal per day is recipe for disaster.

How can you run for 2hrs each day?

What distances are you covering in this 2 hours?

First thing any and everyone needs to do before undertaking an exercise routine/system (other than a checkup with a physician) is to educate themselves on proper eating. PROPER eating.

There are many healthy eating books in the bookstore. Check the exercise/fitness area and NOT the cookbook area.

Hot dogs, pizza, fries, and 3 donuts. 4x/day. Add ice cream sometimes and a stik of butter or lard.
