I'm 6ft and 188lbs.. I'm quite muscly as I work out and gym a lot, the only problem is my diet and drinking that causes me to have some body fat that I really want to get rid of.
I am trying to improve my diet through eating more protein whilst still lifting and exercising. I aim to have a net intake of about 1500-1700 calories each day as I want to lose weight visibly by mid August when I go on holiday.
Am I right in thinking that my daily calories required to maintain my weight is probably about 2500? I have tried searching on different websites and they all say different things!
2400-2700 sounds about right if you're relatively active.
