I know KT tape has been referenced in other threads, but is anyone else use these and like them?
I've seen athletes using these tapes on their bodies, and thought it was more for show than anything else.
Last week I did squats, and the morning after the top of my right foot was very painful and stiff. I couldn't put weight on the foot at all. I don't know what caused it as squatting weights has never done that to me before.
After hobbling around work all day long, I remembered the tape thing, and decided to look online.
After watching the following video, I purchased some KT Tape Pro from a local Target and applied the tape to the top portion of my right foot:
After I applied it and started walking around, I noticed an immediate improvement. As the day went on I could actually put weight on my foot and walk around without limping. The foot was still stiff and sore, but nothing like before. I'm a firm believer in this product.
I'm usually wary of these products but I also like to go by the motto: Don't knock it till you try it. With that said, I'll give this a try when the time comes.
I'm skeptical like a hippo on this one.
But I do know a few athletes who swear by it, and they get rather good results using it. I'm one of those people who the tape wouldn't work for due to my.. nature.
