That sucks. No doubt I'll clip the emergency-off tether every time I use a treadmill.

That's always good practice, but from the sound of it that wouldn't have mattered. :/

Iv heard some weirder ways then this, but is sad to think 'if only'.. its scary to think how smallest things could be it.
