Well folks let's look at it this way, The Roll Of Shame is a versatile exercise which can go from a chest movement to giving you a great forearm and ab workout. not too many movements can do that.

I've never had to actually roll the bar. I always go clampless when benching solo in the past; an immediate tilt (left or right) and one side of plates are on the floor and the other set follows. I can't imagine rolling 200-250lbs across a torso.
i'm a female and have done the roll of shame; no weights on the bar, just the bar itself became too much all of a sudden. I didn't find the weight of the bar on my stomach and hips pleasant either getting from under it. Haven't used once since.
My fellow gentlemen (I would call you Bros but maybe we are not ready for that yet) How many of you have done it? Let be honest here and have some humor please ok? This is men talk, I do not expect participation from our lovely ladies but they are certainly welcome to join in if they want to. I hope none of the ladies have done it, I do not think they should. But you fellas have you done it? I imagine that some of my fellow lifters here know what it is and how important it is for a man in the gym. I will be back later to see if there is feedback.
Uhh...OK, I give up. Exactly what are you talking about? Done what? I'm not getting the whole "roll of shame" deal. Sorry.
Oh...OK. I get the feeling that the guy in the video is not exactly a MENSA candidate. LOL. Like another member said, No, I have never done it since I am very in touch with my body and my exercise thresholds and limits. Without a spotter I would never come that close to negative failure with a barbell. It's silly and irresponsible. I guess some muscle heads think its a macho thing, though, to left every last gram of weight you can on the bench. Even if it is to risk injury. I never really understood that. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.
