I have heard of it. This is the same eating and workout plan used on the TV show Extreme Makeover. In fact, I have tried this program. It is pretty strict and hard to follow, BUT it does work. I think what I learned from it and still use today, are how the different foods work for my body type. You learn how different body types react (and gain or lose weight) to different kinds of foods. I also learned things like grapefruit is a natural appetite suppressant, and asparagus is a natural diuretic and helps. The hardest part of this program, is that it makes you cut out almost all forms of salt and sodium so that you don't retain any water weight. This leads to tasteless, bland, and boring food which is very hard to keep eating after a few months.

I ordered this plan... saw what needed to be done and... sent it back!! Sad yet true. It was way too much for me at the time. I know you're supposed to eat small meals throughout the day but at the time there was just no way I could eat that much at work.

TwiloMike posed a very good question. Was the weight loss weight or fat? Some diets have you losing "scale" weight as opposed to "fat" weight. People look at the scale and see that they are not as heavy as they were previously and think they are doing great when in fact they are actually doing worse. Some of these diets may be good to kick-start a new way of life in eating healthy and working out but the person doing it must be consistent over a long period of time (months, years) for it to be effective.

Frequent small meals througout the day is exactly what is needed to help speed up your metabolism that will help you lose weight. But in addition to this you will need cardio exercise to burn fat/calories and weight training to build healthy muscle.
