What did you do to check if air quality was good? Did you go all out or just put weights and treadmill in the basement? Pics suggestions thanks

Set up a home gym in our condo in 1974, and moved it to our home 1977.

Not sure what you're getting at re: AQ. If AQ is good for general living, should be good enough for working out, unless there's something I'm missing.

House has been tested for radon, no problem. Have carbon monoxide detectors, one in the gym and another in the room that has a wood-burning stove which has been rarely used since the 1980s. Some sort of anti-mold device on the oil burner.

Not sure what the issue is.

Our home gym is in the (detached) garage. Not many basements down here in NC.

I was thinking about that but in the cold days it's gonna suck working out in the garage.

My dad put one in the basement of his house. Before it was a wood floor, almost like a second living room. He changed it to the rubber type floor that gyms have and has a everything a regular gym would have. It's a pretty nice setup.

Not sure what you mean by air quality though.

Unless it's an air tight bomb shelter I think you'll have adequate O2.
