Why do some guys like to exercise with no shirt on in public?
Just the other day saw some guy running near where I work with no shirt on, just shorts and sneakers. And this was a very public business area and nowhere near a beach.
Admittedly he had a nice physique but it just screams narcissim to me. And don't tell me it's more comfortable. I find having on a moisture wicking shirt feels way better.
But I've always been modest that way and even if I had a six pack I'd still cover up.
The only time I do it is in remote areas like my
county park where I run a lot. Mostly boaters and fishing folks. Gets pretty hot here and shirts get drenched. Also a chance to get a little tanned.
When it wasn't cold, used to run wearing a ball cap, ear phones, running shoes, athletic supporter, and nothing else. On rare occasions, without the supporter.
This was on my property with the nearest neighbor 1/2 mile away and we're separated by a mini-forest of trees. Did this for many years.
One time the mail lady came up the driveway and another time a carload of Jehovah's Witnesses but in each instance I was able to conceal behind natural cover.

jealous much?
Maybe he wants a tan. Maybe he doesn't want to have a soaked shirt that he has to wash, maybe he likes the air on his skin while running. Maybe he feels free with no shirt on.

I live in a retirement area and a common complain by the women in the neighborhood is that the oldtimers are riding bikes, golf carts sans their shirts and it's not a nice sight.
