I’m not into the chemistry, but I can tell you that I never had a problem in restaurants. Meat or fish, salad and other vegetables are available at any restaurant. I allowed my self to have some high carb vegetables like potato, beans, beets, carrots, etc. Not sure if you eat those or not, but even if you don’t its not difficult.
Even now that I’m eating carbs, my favorite burger joint has a salad with a bun less burger on it that is about my favorite lunch.
