Anyone follow workout from a pretty picture on pinterest that looks interesting?

Every time someone ask me "what is your workout routine". I don't have a proper answer. I try to attend fitness class when possible. Aside from that I don't have any concrete plan. I am trying to lose weight, so I hop on cardio machine or do the weight machines or find a workout pin I saved & follow that.

I found some workout on pinterest that I love and have become my default setting like kettlebell workout that was published in shape magazine. But other routines I have tried and didn't really like it. How do I find a workout routine to follow and not just go by how I feel that day

Ask your trainer or do what you like.
For example, as to me, I usually train 30 minutes in cardio zone. I'm over 40 and that's enough for me. In that day I don't lift weights. That's too much and may cause over training.
I like:
- 20 minutes on the treadmill + 10 minutes on bike
- 10 minutes on the treadmill + 10 minutes on elliptical + 10 minutes on bike
- 15 minutes on elliptical + 10 minutes on bike + 5 minutes on row machine
Too much of the row machine isn't good cause that may harm the back. The treadmill is the hardest exercise if you run faster 11 km/h and it's right to do that exercise first.

Do you belong to a gym? If so, sometimes a few sessions with a trainer are free. He/she can help you come up with a routine.

Maybe you can try doing different types of training (or targeting different areas) when you exercise.

Yeah, there are a lot of workouts on Pinterest - kind of overwhelming.
