I'm almost finished with it. It's a great workout that will kick your ass even if you're in shape already. I'm quite happy with the results, and so is my boyfriend who did it with me. He's career military and says it's harder than any military workout routine he's ever done.

I have two female friends who tried it. One said that she couldn't do it, felt it was just too hard, the other did it for a short time and already had results. I'm willing to try it but not buy it LOL It's an expensive investment, so my friend is letting me borrow hers. I have the will, just need to get my arse motivated to follow through. I really need to do something, if I see that I'm getting results, then chances are I'll do it.

It's hard, but that has nothing to do with being female. I should know, I'm a 46 year old female and I'm doing it right along with a man ten years younger than me who is career military. So she just wasn't in shape enough to do it. That's the whole thing about the P90X...you have to be in good physical condition already in order to complete it.
Even then, it's hard.

I think its good for a bit, when we were running those tapes in my weight lifting class generally only about 10% of people were keeping stride for stride with the video for the whole tape. I also remember playing basketball the last day of that class, hillarious watching lifters try to play basketball, nothing but overshooting the hoop and trying to throw the ball far lol, pathetic, fun class though, we had nice equipment for a high school. P90x is pretty good too.

Great blog! Thanks for sharing that.
I wonder if the eating program in Power 90 is the same as the P90X. I would think so, since it is the same trainer.
I have ordered Power 90 off of amazon for much less than Beachbody.com and will start there. I am not ready for P90X!
Now, what is the P90X plus? I haven't seen that one.

I did my 90 days, finishing up just this past week, and I was very happy with the results. There are other ways to get in shape, as people here have testified, but P90X just takes the though out of it. Plus, the intensity will get you to fitness levels you probably never thought you could reach.
I put together a little p90x review at P90X Review for anyone interested in the details. My before and after information is listed on my blog, too. I went from 12.6% body fat to 6.3% and you can actually see my abs now. I'm so jacked up about how well it went, I'd be happy to answer questions if anyone wants to email. Next, I'm going to try P90X plus, I think.

My friend was able to download some of the dvds off the p2p sites and showed me a few. it looks really cool. the guy tony horton talks through the entire exercise while doing them and is pretty funny guy.

From what I can tell, P90X Plus is like an expansion pack for P90X that costs around $60. You get an additional 5 workout dvd's with directions on how you can mix them with P90X. That way, you can repeat the program with variations so you don't get bored.

The program makes perfect sense. Eat right and exercise 90 minutes a day. How can you go wrong?

I want to buy this program badly, I just need enough room in my house to be able to do it! :P
