Can I be doing too much aerobic exercise?

I run 2-3 miles 5 mornings a week.

I then bike to work and school (about 10 miles a day total) 5 days a week.

I run with a dog 3.3 miles 3 nights a week.

Is this too much?

No such thing as too much. I do not see why you would think so.

Just for comparison, my friend runs about 50 miles a week, and that is outside the mando PT and the gym.

I do about 3 miles 4 days a week, all my patience can put up with. Been thinking of getting a bike for me and my wife so we can bike ride also.

Everyone has their own personal limits. If you feel you're fine, go for it. If you're getting hurt, though, its a sign to stop.

Absolutely. What are your fitness goals?

Too much for what? Give us your goals.

It depends on your goals. What are your goals? If youre a boxer or an MMA athlete training for an event than youre not doing anywhere near enough. If youre just a regular joe who wants to get in good shape and feel that you are still not challenged enough then its still not enough.

I agree with everyone - depends on what your goals are. Also, if you are suffering injuries you should pull back.
I run 4 miles a day and strive for 7 days a week - only because it never ends up being that and if I have a particular day I take off, then something always comes up on another day and it all gets screwed up. So I shoot for 7 days and it probably evens out to 5.
You are biking a total of 10 - I would assume this is not "pushing it" biking but just the biking to get you from point A to B. Most likely cardio wise it's not huge.
And when you run with your dog - is it as hard of a workout as when you don't?
I really don't see how it could be too much if you are feeling good, not getting hurt and not losing too much weight.

In and of itself, the exercises you are doing ain't all that much....BUT....so much depends on your lifestyle. If you've been a couch potatoe for the past 15 years and you're 30 lbs overweight, starting out with this program would be waaaay too much for most people. On the other hand if you've been running marathons for the past 15 years, your program probably wouldn't register on the richter scale. How does it feel to YOU? If you find yourself mentally dreading any part of your program, take it as a sign that it's time to shake things up a bit and make some adjustments.

I want to lose flab and gain muscled definition. I am 6'1 and about 200 lbs. I look skinny (when clothed) but I have a beer gut and massive love handles.

I haven't been exercising at all, other than walking to the metro and around the city, so I jumped right into this.
