Default What causes you to continously feel hungry?

I can sit down have a nice dinner, not eat anymore than i normally do, yet an hour afterward it seems as if I'm still hungry and can eat some more.

It has happened in the past but not for a long time. Now all day I felt as if I could just eat, eat, eat.

I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and usually (but not always) a snack at 9 am and 2 pm and sometimes 4 pm.

My eating habits have been the same for a long time.

Also it's not just what feels like hunger. It's almost like a mild pressure on the back of my esophagus, I can feel food go down, it feels like it does when you swallow too much at one time.

Not sure what's going on here, could it be gas of some sort?

Hormones.

And carbs. What a dangerous combination!

you might have a high metabolism like me. I eat small meals during the day-i can't eat alot at one time. And I am always wanting a snack or something. Of course there might be something wrong-full bloodwork might help.

Might want to go to the doctor and have your hormones checked out just to be sure. Sounds like a hormonal imbalance.

My metabolism I wont say is high, because I still have a beer belly that I can't shake for being 29 years old, have had it since I was a kid. But I am trying to eat snacks between meals to boost my metabolism.

How's your activity level? What does your daily food intake consist of?

I don't continuously feel hungry...but I smoke, and that reduces the hunger messages somehow.

If I don't workout, I tend to eat a little more on those days (Sundays and Thursdays are my "take a break from working out" days).
