Default Ladies only, I need some advice... no crude comments please

I really love the eliptical machine, but the bouncing inflicts so much pain on my chest. Any suggestions?

Check out the bras from Title 9:

Title Nine - The Frog Bra - No Bouncing Ever

I know some people (DD and up) who swear by them. The thing about these bras is, (this will sound odd but stay with me here!!!) they are also recommended to people in the "trans" community, i.e. Male-to-Female transsexuals who want to bind their breasts... which means they apparently offer a LOT of compression. So yeah, I'd say they are definitely worth trying!!

Barring that I had a busty friend who used to double or triple her bras... a regular bra followed by a sports bra or two. Seemed like a lot of trouble to me (and hot!) but it worked for her, apparently.

I am very busty but I try not to do bouncy things. LOL. That's my "solution".

Try not to bounce too much on the elliptical. There will always be some bounce, but if you are bouncing excessively you are not getting the most out of your workout as you are allowing momentum to carry you. Increase the resistance so that you are using your leg muscles to push and this will decrease the amount of bouncing.

I agree with maia. Have someone help you get proper form.

But Ace Bandage over a sports bra is the best I think for control.

That's what I was coming in here to say. Focus on having your legs do the pushing: keep your torso fairly steady.

I was going to suggest the Frog Bra myself. I know people that swear by it.

Get a better sports bra! I like the Champion ones. Wear two Sports bras if it's really a problem. Make sure they are fitted enough.

I wear a Champion. I'll try the Frog and I did notice that when I payed attention to my posture, the bouncing was minimized, but not totally gone.

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I used to wear two sports bras and then got "Moving Comfort" which I use and also horse back ride in - nothing like a jiggy trot to give you some serious chest pain without the proper support. The Moving Comfort prevents any bounce for me and that's saying something if you know what I mean!
