I've been doing yoga since 2000 and it has made quite a difference in my flexibility, core strength, and its a great stress reliever. It just feels great. These days, yoga and running/biking are all I need to maintain my fitness and health.

I think that yoga is an awesome complement to any fitness routine. For me, it's not enough to affect my actual weight. I do weights and cardio 4X/week and then yoga 1X and pilates 1X and yoga and pilates help with core, posture, and the non-show-off muscles.

If you did Bikram yoga, I'm pretty sure you'd lose weight...

...or pass out - one or the other.

BTW - profile pic - Theda Bara?

I don't think there's any Bikram studio in these parts - this area tends to be about 15 years behind the times.

There are at least 12 Bikram Yoga places within 12 miles of where I live. I think I'll stick with my Vinyasa yoga though.
